Anyone with a Gaysht account -- passenger or driver -- can have it deleted, in the app or without it.
In the app
- Open Gaysht and go to «Profile».
- Open «Account security».
- Press «Delete account», enter your password and confirm.
- A driver finds «Delete account» at the foot of «Profile».
Without the app
Write to gaysht.iq@gmail.com with the phone number of the account. Once we have checked that the number is yours, we delete the account.
What is deleted
Your name, phone number, photo and the details in your profile.
What is kept, and for how long
Rides, invoices and payments stay as long as the law and our books require, because they are the record of money that really moved -- with as little about you in them as the law allows. A driver's papers are kept for as long as the law says.
